Established by the 1981 Argyle Eagles 9-Man State Championship Football Team to celebrate the legacy of Connie and Merece Lubarski and encourage their core values of teamwork, determination, dedication, perseverance, mental and physical toughness, and leadership.
The Connie and Merece Lubarski Champions Fund consists of an Endowed Fund and a Spendable Fund.
Endowed Fund: Provides a $5,000.00 scholarship for post-secondary education needs of a district graduate of Stephen-Argyle Central who embraces the core values. This has a two-part application: Written and interview.
Spendable Fund: Funds will be available to be distributed on an annual basis to support initiatives of the Stephen-Argyle Central School and/or communities of Argyle and Stephen that align with the core values.
